95% Of All Home Based Businesses FAIL Within One Year. Find Out Why.

I want to mention something today that, quite frankly, pisses me off.

The failure rate in the Home Business industry is staggering. Well over 95% of all home businesses FAIL within one year. And that’s not saying that the other 5% are “successful”, just that they haven’t given up yet.

In fact, it is estimated that less than 2% of home business owners ever reach a level that most of us would call “success”.

So why is that? Why is the failure rate in what should be the best industry so incredibly high?

There are several reasons. But one particular reason has my panties all in a bunch today.

People think that they can just waltz into the Home Business industry, talk to a few friends, and then be successful with next to no effort at all.

NOTHING could farther from the truth. Succeeding in the Home Business industry takes work. Lots of work. But just working hard is not enough. You need to work SMART.

But most people don’t know what to do. They keep bugging their “warm market” (i.e. friends and family), maybe they pick up a lead list and call a few people. They keep hosting home meetings, etc.

But 95%+ of them keep spinning their wheels. And then they give up. They quit. They go back to their 9-5, forgetting why they started a home business in a first place – to ESCAPE their 9-5.

The overwhelming majority of the failures in this industry share one thing in common. They never, ever, even ONCE, invested in themselves. What do I mean by that? They never really learned HOW to be successful in this industry. They never took the time, and the expense, to educate themselves.

They probably thought something along the lines of “Hey, its a home based business, how hard can it be?”.

How many of you would run out a start up a new traditional business without doing extensive research, without educating yourself on the market, the competition, what those who are successful in the industry do, etc?

I’m guessing not too many of you would. So what makes you think that the home business industry is any different?

There are many, many excellent programs out there that teach you how to be successful in the Home Business Industry. Getting a PhD level education in this industry is much less expensive than you might think.

Is there cost involved? Yes. Is there a time commitment? Of course.

But if you fail to invest in yourself, to educate yourself about the industry, then…well, you will fail in your business.

I have personally participated in many training courses and other educational resources with some of the very top minds and producers in this industry. I’ve seen which courses are helpful and have quality content, and which don’t. And now, I am going to share that with you.
