Have you ever heard of a “grenade jumper”? You’ve probably seen war movies or television programs that had a “grenade jumper” scene.
Basically, the idea is a group of soldiers are packed together in a confined area, a grenade is lobbed in, and one of the soldiers dives onto the grenade, using his body to contain the blast, sacrificing himself, but saving the lives of his comrades.
Usually, the “grenade jumper” is the group’s leader.
So what does this have to do with home business ownership? Maybe nothing. Or, maybe EVERYTHING.
When you are recruiting individuals to join your organization, they aren’t looking for your “fantastic opp.or.tunity”. They aren’t looking at your amazing product. They are looking at YOU.
They want a leader that will lead them to success. They want a leader who will do everything in their power to help this new recruit to succeed.
They are looking for a leader who will jump on a grenade for them.
Are you this kind of a leader? Do your prospects really see you as a leader? Can you attract prospects to you through your leadership?
If you are not perceived as a leader, you have already failed.
