If you are a serious home business professional, then you know how effective some of the “free” traffic generation strategies can be.
And you also know how much time you can spend on these marketing activities.
But did you know that these “free” traffic methods aren’t really FREE? And did you know that there are ways to create extreme efficiencies in your marketing efforts using these “free” methods?
Those of you who know me well, know that extreme efficiency is my #1 calling card. It’s what I devote the majority of my efforts towards in business as well as life in general.
I find a good way to accomplish a task, and then find ways to make it increasingly efficient.
This is how in my “real world professional life”, I was able to grow a department to 4x the size of any of my colleagues, and while working far less hours (they still haven’t figured out how I did it – and I’m not going to tell them!)
And the ideals of extreme efficiency and effectiveness absolutely spill over into Home Business and Internet Marketing.
As any true Entrepreneur will tell you, your #1 single most valuable asset is…
TIME
There is no other resource that is absolutely 100% limited – and at the same time, that every single person on the planet has the exact same access to.
How you USE this asset is what separates the top 1% earners in the Industry from those who struggle and eventually fail.
I’m not going to tell you right now how you should be spending every single second of your life – or even every second that you can devote to your business.
But I will share a tip with you that has allowed me to leverage what I spend my time doing, and to reduce it down to about 1/3 of MOST Entrepreneurs.
Here’s the thing: most Home Business Entrepreneurs at least dabble in free traffic generating techniques, like Article Marketing, Blogging, or Social Media.
These “free” techniques aren’t really free, though, since they cost you your most valuable asset – TIME.
And they can be FANTASTIC time wasters (especially social media…but that’s a topic for another lesson).
But there are ways to dramatically improve your overall efficiency.
Let’s talk about Article Marketing. Most Entrepreneurs will spend a lot of time creating really long, indepth articles, for which they will spend hours and hours of their precious time in painstaking research and then writing.
And then they post their article on a few free ezine sites, and then hope something happens.
But…that’s all that they do with it. They don’t leverage the time they spent writing that article to other areas of their business.
Of course, there’s no better way to display your value to other Entrepreneurs than by disseminating valuable information through your own original content.
But at the same time, you can’t spend an undue amount of time on these types of traffic generation and marketing strategies.
Right now, I’ll let you in on one little tip that will help make you much more efficient.
When I write an article, I don’t just put it out there on the World Wide Web and then abandon it.
Nosiree – after I write an article, I immediately turn that exact same article into a blog post.
And then, once that’s done, I turn it into an email to my audience.
And then, I submit it to other Social Media and Indexing sites.
I take that time I spent writing an article and leverage it to the hilt.
I extract as much exposure and marketing presence as I possibly can from the time I spent writing that article.
The same is true if I write a blog post – I immediately turn it into an article and submit it to the best article sites, and then I turn it into an email.
And guess what I’m going to do with this blog post right after I’m done writing it?
That’s right – I’m going to turn it into an article and an email message!
There’s no logical reason why you should write separate blog posts, articles, and email messages.
Sure, you’ll probably have to do a bit of tweaking here or there to make it “fit”, but there’s no reason to create completely different blog posts, articles, and email messages.
If you are a serious Entrepreneur, then you should spend as much time and mental effort as is necessary to find ways to achieve ultra-efficiency.
And maximizing the usage of your original content is one of the best ways to create extreme efficiency in your business.
